Develop a shoe for a specific persona within a chosen trend & demographic.
- Loft Shoes
Can you make a short man feel tall? - For this studio class, we were asked to first explore & develop future societal trends.
From there, we were asked to develop a specific persona/user within a chosen trend to design a shoe for. 
Chosen Megatrend: Hermaphrolife
Society is revolving less and less around classic gender roles. Due to higher social acceptance, the line between what defines the roles of men and woman has become blurred.
Developed Persona: Warren Whitledge
A 27 year old politician new to the 2026 campaign trail. His main opponent and equal is Amy Hillan. The ever rising authority of women, along with Warren's short stature has him shaking in his...shoes.
The final shoe is a sophisticated, yet casual shoe with a dramatic exposed lift. Acting much like a women's heel, the lift gives Warren a few extra inches in height - but an even greater boost in confidence.
• men have become emotionally sensitive and more accepting of cosmetic fashion
• design inspiration stemmed fro men's suits - collars, cuffs, lapels, pockets.
